The Z.Car-II is an evolution and enlargement of the Z.Car concept into a four-wheel base, four-seater model. Like the Z.Car, it is emission-free, but rather than using hydrogen as a fuel source, it is powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
Its design represents the successful resolution of complex aesthetic, mechanical and functional considerations. A panoramic glazed panel echoes the wide hatch of its three-wheeled predecessor, and the large sliding passenger doors are seamlessly integrated with a sleek, aerodynamic body.
The compact design takes advantage of a high degree of weight and space distribution for all the mechanical and electrical components, and to save space and enhance performance, the car is fitted with four electric in-wheel motors, making it very quiet on the road.
