Eugene Leung Lead Designer
Eugene joined the studio in 2006 to work on the headquarters tower of shipping firm CMA CGM in Marseille. In 2009 he relocated to Beijing for the Galaxy SOHO project and he continues to develop opportunities for the practice in China. He has been involved in the Youth Olympics Centre in Nanjing, as well as competitions for Beijing New Airport and the China Southern Airlines Air City Masterplan in Guangzhou.
Eugene was born in Hong Kong, raised in Taiwan and educated in Canada, the USA and the UK. He studied architecture at the Carnegie Mellon University, graduating in 2003, and went on to complete a Masters in Architecture at the Architectural Association in 2006.
Eugene currently holds a UK patent for his AADRL group thesis work, entitled ‘Intelligent Bi-stable Structure’ (patent number GB2445572).
