Hussam has contributed to a wide variety of competitions and projects since joining ZHA in 2006, including the Signature Towers in Dubai; the New Syrian Parliament Building in Damascus; Elk Grove Civic Center Master Plan, California, USA; and the Pierres Vives project in Montpelier, France.

 Education

 Hussam has BA Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of Damascus University, Syria and a Masters in Housing and Urbanism from the Architectural Association in London.  He has also studied at the Architecture and Construction School, Greenwich University, London.
