Lydia Kim Associate BA, Dipl–Ing., M.Arch (AA), ARB
Lydia joined us in 2010 and for her first two years, she was based in the studio’s Beijing office, working on the SOHO Galaxy development and the competition to design the new Beijing Airport. Returning to London in 2012, she is currently working on the Youth Olympic Centre in Nanjing.
She holds a Masters in Architecture and Urbanism from the Design Research Lab at the Architectural Association in London. Prior to this, she completed a Diplom Ingenier at Peter Behrens School of Architecture, Düsseldorf and an undergraduate degree at Chelsea College of Art & Design, London, as well as studying in the USA as a Fulbright Scholar.
Continuing her affiliation with the Architectural Association, she has since taught at the AA’s Visiting School in Shanghai and Beijing.
