Reza Esmaeeli Associate M.Arch & M.A.Eng,
Reza began his career in Tehran and was head of atelier in Khesht A.C. for two years. He joined the studio in 2008 and is currently project architect for the Beko Masterplan in the Serbian capital, Belgrade. Prior to this, he worked on the Sheldon Museum in Nebraska, USA, the Eleftheria Square masterplan in Nicosia, Cyprus, the Darat-Al-Funun Gallery in Amman, Jordan and Dubai Maritime City. His work focuses on developing the mathematical techniques used to generate serial patterns and volumes, which can then be applied to a building envelope or landscape design. He has been involved in a number of high-profile competitions, including a cultural centre in Guangzhou, the Federal National Council, Abu Dhabi and the Karo Masterplan in Sofia, Bulgaria.
He was granted his first Master’s Degree from the University of Tehran in 2003 and completed his second Masters in Architecture and Urbanism at the Architectural Association in London in 2008.
His work has featured in Arch Daily and Wired magazine (2011).
