Tomasz Starczewski Lead Architect M.Arch, ARB, IARP
Tomasz joined Zaha Hadid Architects in 2012. Prior to joining ZHA, he worked for award-winning architectural practices in London, Germany, and Poland. After joining ZHA, Tomasz has been involved in both design and delivery of a number of projects including hotels and residential, retail and office buildings on all stages of design, through to construction and site supervision.
Tomasz completed his graduate studies at the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture (B.Ach. 2002-2006, M.Arch. 2006-2009) and Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (M.AAS. 2009-2010). He is a qualified architect, registered in the UK and Poland.
Tomasz has worked on diverse commissions and competitions which includes the BEKO Masterplan in Belgrade; detail design of the Eleftheria Square project in Nicosia, Cyprus, concept and detailed design of a large retail development in Dubai, as well as a concept design of mixed-use high-rise buildings in China.
For over three years Tomasz led the facade package for the Opus Tower, an iconic mixed-used development in Dubai. He was also involved in the structure and interior design development and coordination and overseen the construction stage from the beginning to the completion of the building.
Currently, Tomasz is leading the facade design on a project in the Mediterranean.
