Zaha Hadid designs Liquid Skyline for the Fabergé Big Egg Hunt New York 2014

Liquid Skyline, designed by Zaha Hadid for the Fabergé Big Egg Hunt New York 2014, investigates the relationship between natural form and urban fabric, resulting in a fluid and unexpected skyline

The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt New York is 100% charitable, working to raise vital funds for two first class causes.

Studio in a School (www.studioinaschool.org) is one of New York’s most respected children’s non-profits, bringing visual arts and professional artists to more than 150 New York public schools each year.

The event will equally benefit Elephant Family (www.elephantfamily.org), as they continue to race against the clock to save the endangered Asian elephant from extinction.

Hadid joins 282 artists and designers contributing to the Fabergé Big Egg Hunt including Jeff Koons, Tracey Emin, Marc Quinn and Ralph Lauren.

The Liquid Skyline egg is currently showcased at Faberge’s Madison Avenue flagship store until April 17 as part of the city-wide public art display. Bids can be made at: paddle8.com

Online bidding ends April 22 at 12:00pm EST, when bids transfer to the live Grand Auction at Sotheby’s New York.

All eggs will be on display at Rockefeller Center April 18. The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt closes April 25.
