Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) and Heydar Aliyev Centre listed as must-see places to visit by the New York Times

In their list of ’52 Places to Go in 2015’ the New York Times explains that DDP has helped transform a ‘gritty old shopping neighborhood in the South Korean capital’ into an international design hub, while the undulating white waves of the Heydar Aliyev Centre join the rich architectural projects being built in Baku.

Since opening, both projects have hosted a variety of popular exhibitions and events. DDP has welcomed over 6 million visitors since opening in March 2014, while the Heydar Aliyev Centre was described as "a masterwork of invention and execution” by the Design Museum when naming the centre as their ‘Design of the Year’ 2014.
