Cove kitchen for Boffi wins ELLE Deco International Design Award

Cove kitchen for Boffi has received an ELLE Deco International Design Award (EDIDA) in the kitchen category.

Launched in 2003, EDIDA winners are selected by the 25 editors-in-chief of the ELLE DECORATION international network recognizing design excellence in 13 categories. Every edition of ELLE DECORATION proposes projects across 13 categories, from fabrics and flooring to furniture, kitchens and bathrooms, with the editor-in-chief nominating their preferred winners.

Founded by Piero Boffi in 1934 as a small kitchen furniture workshop, Boffi has since become synonymous with the best of Italian innovation and craftsmanship; collaborating with renowned international designers to create exceptional collections for the home. The quality and invention within Boffi’s work has been exhibited around the world including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Boffi_code offers customisation to the highest standards, tailoring individual solutions with selected materials, finishes and cabinetry. Cove marries exceptional detailing and design with functionality, carefully chosen materials and traditional craftsmanship.

Cove‘s evolutionary lineage is discernible through a re-visitation of Hadid’s repertoire of projects including the formal and linear compositions of the MAXXI Museum of Art in Rome and Cultural Center in Baku, as well as the innovations explored within the practice’s experimental work investigating materiality and composition.

Available in two sizes and a variety of materials including hand-finished natural stone, selected wood and high-performing Corian® solid surface, the Cove can be wholly customized to the client’s precise specification and requirements.
