Bee’ah’s Headquarters - new construction photography

Incorporating sustainability and technology working together to drive positive change, Bee’ah’s new headquarters in Sharjah, UAE sets benchmarks in sustainable engineering, targeting LEED Platinum certification with minimal energy & water usage and an ultra-low carbon footprint. It will also be the first fully AI operated building in the region - making Bee’ah’s headquarters one of the smartest and most sustainable office buildings in the world.

Winner of the 2018 Green Building Award, the headquarters’ design is defined by Bee’ah’s mission to provide integrated environmental services to meet the future challenges of its community - continuing the company’s on-going work towards cleaner air & water, renewable energy and zero waste to landfill, converting waste from being a consumptive by-product to something that can be core to society’s future.

Working with environmental design consultants Atelier Ten and the sustainability team at BuroHappold Engineeing a holistic approach was developed for the new headquarters with environmental considerations are woven into every aspect of the design.

Designed in response to its natural environment as a series of intersecting dunes orientated to optimize prevailing winds, the new headquarters incorporates grey water recycling with 90% of its building materials regionally sourced and of a high recycled content.
