The Henderson wins four CTBUH Awards of Excellence

Described by the Financial Times as “organic and fluid, this is a significant and elegant tower”, The Henderson has received four Awards of Excellence from the Council of Tall Buildings & Urban Habiat (CTBUH)

· Best Tall Building in Asia
· Best Tall Building 100-199 metres
· Space Within Award
· Façade Award

Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects for Henderson Land,  the tower creates new civic plazas enveloped by nature and is located between Central and Admiralty MTR stations at the hub of the financial district’s network of elevated walkways.

The 36-storey tower’s fluid design and immaculately crafted interiors are home the Asia-Pacific headquarters of the historic auction house Christie's in addition to Audemars Piguet’s ‘AP House at The Henderson’ and the renowned Cloud 39 skylounge & terrace elevated within Hong Kong’s skyline giving spectacular views of the city.

The Henderson’s 4-ply, double-laminated, double-curved, insulated glass facades are designed to provide the highest thermal performance and withstand the region’s powerful summer typhoons. The tower’s Sky Garden is an outdoor recreational space with aquaponics planting network that acts as an effective biological air-purifying filter by consuming contaminants.

Targeting LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum certification, The Henderson’s smart management systems control natural ventilation which can be supplemented with dehumidification and filtration when required, as well as detect the degree of occupancy in any interior and automatically adjust indoor air temperature, humidity and fresh air volume - learning to accurately predict daily occupancy trends to increase efficiencies and reduce energy consumption.
