Adrian Yiu Lead Architect BA(Hons), MArch, Pg Dip., RIBA, ARB, BA

Profile
Adrian joined Zaha Hadid Architects in 2016, he has experience in a wide range of projects, including educational institutes, museums, airports, and master plans across Hong Kong, the Middle East, and Europe. Since joining our team, he has worked on a number of projects across different work stages including National Built Heritage Centre in Diriyah and the Henderson as well as commercial, residential and office towers in Europe, the Middle East and central Asia

Adrian is currently a lead architect working on a high-rise development in Hong Kong where he leads a team on façade rationalisation, parametric design and fabrication methodology. He also contributed to a recent winning competition for the Tahiti Theatre and Convention Centre. Here, he pushed the boundaries of sustainable design and construction, drawing inspiration from the local environment, history, and culture.

Education
Adrian graduated from Architecture at Northumbria University with the highest mark of the faculty before completing his master’s degree in the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) with Distinction.

In addition to his professional work, Adrian actively contributes to the field of architecture as a visiting critic at the Bartlett School of Architecture UCL, Architectural Association School of Architecture and the Royal College of Art. This involvement allows him to stay connected to his passion for digital fabrication and innovation in architecture.
