Alejandro Garcia Gadea Lead Architect M.Arch
Profile Since joining Zaha Hadid in May 2017, Alejandro has worked on a wide variety of projects worldwide, ranging from residential, hospitality and workplace sectors to mixed-used developments and infrastructure projects.
A UK registered ARB Architect, Alejandro specializes in design and rationalisation of complex geometries; developing computational buildings strategies from design to construction.
Alejandro was a key member of the design and façade team from concept to construction of the Mercury House Tower in Malta and he is currently working on the design and rationalization of a tower in Shenzhen.
Education and teaching Alejandro received his BArch Degree in Architecture at University of Alicante in 2013 and he further developed his knowledge on computational design with a post-professional MArch in Architecture and Urbanism from AA Design Research Lab in 2016.
Since 2016 Alejandro has been tutoring and lecturing at multiple international workshops and webinars on computational design and digital fabrication organized by the Architectural Association School of Architecture, UCL Barlett School of Architecture and Design Morphine among other organisations. He is currently a Senior Member and Co-lead of the Master’s in Computational Advanced Design by Design Morphine.
