Branko Svarcer Associate Dipl. Ing
Profile Branko joined Zaha Hadid Architects in 2017. With over 34 years of experience, he specializes in façade design, vertical transportation, building regulations, and codes and standards. He has worked on a broad range of projects within the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, including commercial, office, cultural, civic, residential and mixed-use developments, whilst also specializing in auditorium design.
Prior to joining ZHA, Branko was an associate director at both RHWL Architects (1994-2015) and Aedas RHWL (2015-2016). He has also worked as an architect for Bernard Engle Architects (1989-1992) and Blampied & Partners (1987-1989).
Since joining Zaha Hadid Architects, Branko has been working as an associate on the regeneration of Mercury Tower in Malta. Branko provides technical support relating to building regulations and codes and standards. He is also responsible for the development of construction information, as well site supervision.
Education Branko holds an architectural engineer’s degree from Belgrade University in Yugoslavia (1985).
