Profile
Kutbuddin joined Zaha Hadid Architects in 2008 with 20 years of architectural experience and has worked on a variety of projects including residential, mixed use and arts buildings. He has designed and built several performing arts buildings in the UK.
Since joining Zaha Hadid Architects, Kutbuddin has utilised his experience of project management to deliver projects from inception to completion and to interface with the client, design team and construction team.
His projects include: d’Leedon, Singapore (façade package); Cairo Expo City (Senior Architect leading the design team); the King Abdullah II House of Culture and Arts, Amman, Jordan; BEEAH Headquaters; Changsha Meixihu International Culture and Arts Centre; Lusail Hotel & Residences and Sberbank Technopark, Moscow.
Kutbuddin is currently delivering the Mercury Tower Hotel and Residences in Malta, as well as several projects in China, including a cluster of skyscrapers in Wuhan and a 5* resort in Hainan.
Education & Teaching
Studying architecture at the Canterbury School of Art and Architecture, Kutbuddin gained his post graduate Diploma with Distinction. He has also taught at the Architectural Association, Cambridge and Canterbury School of Architecture.
