Profile Before joining Zaha Hadid Architects in 2017, Lenka worked internationally in New York, London, Vienna, and Bratislava. Since joining the studio, she worked on leading design proposals, investigating their feasibility following the technical requirements and planning regulations. Lenka has a wide range of experience with the design development of Luxury Private Residencies, Hospitality buildings and Headquarters.
Lenka was part of the team for OPPO Headquarters in Shenzen, where she was responsible for the design and technical coordination of retail areas and an interior design proposal as well as planning the conference centre, and for Taikang Headquarter in Wuhan where she focussed on developing the retail and hotel areas, ground conditions and the landscape design.
Education Lenka began architectural studies at the Slovak University of Technology, where she received bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering, as well as in Architecture and Urban Planning.
She holds a Master of Architecture from Hani Rashid Studio at the University of Applied Arts and she also received an Ing. arch (Architectural Engineer) in Architecture and Urban Design at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. During graduate studies, she took part in exchange programmes at the Vienna University of Technology and the Southern California Institute in Los Angeles.
Her work has been exhibited internationally in Venice (Biennale of Architecture), Vienna, Zlín, Bratislava, Beijing (4th Art and Science International Exhibition) and Dubai (Dubai Expo 2020). Lenka has received numerous awards including 2020 GRAND PRIX AWARD for Architecture and Innovation of the Sea from Foundation Jacques Rougerie Génération Espace Mer – Institut de France and the Zlín Design Week Award for Innovation in 2017.
