Marina Martinez Associate M.Arch, ARB, RIBA
Profile
Before joining Zaha Hadid Architects in 2010, Marina previously worked as a designer architect in Italy and in award-winning architectural firms in London. With over 20 years’ experience, Marina is currently Associate at Zaha Hadid Architects and has extensive experience working on residential, commercial, mixed-use schemes and masterplans as package lead, coordinating the 2D teams, clients, consultants and contractors.
Marina has worked on a number of noteworthy international projects whilst at ZHA, including d’Leedon residential development in Singapore; CityLife shopping district and Generali office tower in Milan, Morpheus Hotel at City of Dreams in Macau and StudioCity Phase II Hotel & Leisure Complex in Macau. She has also worked on other residential and commercial projects in Beijing, Taiwan, Venice and Melbourne, and on mixed-use schemes in China. Her main experience spans from Schematic Design to Construction Documentation stages, but she has also worked in many competitions on several other project typologies as culture, hospitality, health, sport, and transport.
Education
Marina gained her master’s degree in Architecture at Federico II University in Naples, Italy, graduating with honours in 2001. She has been a registered architect in the UK since 2002 and member of RIBA since 2016.
