Simon Yu Director BSc(Hons)
Profile Simon first joined ZHA in 1995 to work on two London cultural and civic competitions. After a period of working internationally, he then re-joined ZHA in 2004, and has since become the head of ZHA’s Hong Kong office, based in China.
Simon has extensive experience working on major projects in China and internationally, including the Guangzhou Opera, the Jockey Club Innovation Tower for the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Changsha Meixihu International Culture & Arts Centre.
He is currently working on projects such as Shenzhen Science & Technology Museum, Zhuhai Civic Art Centre, Huanggang Port Area Masterplan and the Henderson Tower in Hong Kong.
Education & Teaching Simon has a Bachelor of Science, with honours, in architecture. He also teaches at Scott Sutherland School of Architecture, Scotland.
