Soungmin Yu Lead Architect ARB, RIBA , BArch, MSc, ADPPA
Upon joining Zaha Hadid Architects in 2014, Soungmin has worked on several direct commission and competition projects in Asia and South America, spanning different project types and scales. She is currently a part of ZHCode group and her research focuses on agent based system and workplace design. Prior to joining the office, she worked for SOM in New York, Foster + Partners in London and UNStudio in Amsterdam.
Soungmin obtained her professional undergraduate degree in architecture from Cornell University in 2007, and received a Master of Science with distinction from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in Emergent Technologies and Design. She is currently a PhD candidate at Universität Für Angewandte Kunst Wien. She has taught workshops and studios in UK, US and the Netherlands, and has been an invited critic at Bartlett and Architectural Association. She published her researches in international academic journals and conference proceedings in computational design.
