Tyson Hosmer Senior Associate Researcher
Profile
Tyson Hosmer is an Associate at Zaha Hadid Architects working with the ZH Code group. His research is focused on embedding localized intelligence in nonlinear organization systems applied in a design process. Currently his research focuses on the application of machine learning with agent based systems.
Education
Tyson holds a Masters Degree from the Architectural Association Design Research Lab and a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from Virginia Tech. He has over 10 years of experience as a designer, software developer and researcher previously working in several architecture offices including Axi:Ome, Asymptote Architecture, Kokkugia, and Cecil Balmond Studio where he was the research director for several years. He has been teaching at the Design Research Lab since 2011. He has taught in the AA Emergent Technologies program and UCL Bartlett as well as teaching workshops and presenting work in the UK, Europe, and U.S.
