Veronika Ilinkskaya Lead Designer
Profile
Prior to joining Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) in 2012, Veronika worked on multiple mixed-use, residential and city masterplans projects in St Petersburg and Moscow, Russia. After joining ZHA, Veronika has been involved in both design and delivery of a number of projects in practice, including hotels and residential, banks, retail and office buildings.
Veronika has worked on diverse commissions and competitions in practice which includes the BEKO Masterplan, Croatia; headquarters for a major institution in Nicosia, Cyprus; overseen the construction stage from the beginning to the completion of the office building Dominion Tower in Moscow; worked on the Detail Design stage of Eleftheria square in Nicosia, Cyprus as well as the Opus in Dubai. Veronika led a team working on the competition for a metro station in Moscow and also worked on a competition for a luxury boutique hotel in Dubrovnik, Croatia. In 2016, she was leading the team winning 1st prize in a competition for the 131, 000 m2 Sberbank Technopark in Skolkovo near Moscow. Veronika has recently managed a team from Concept through Detail Design stage of a private penthouse apartment in Moscow.
Education
Veronika studied at I.E. Repin’s State Academy of Arts, Sculpture and Architecture of St Petersburg, Russia in 1999-2005, graduating with a diploma in Architecture. During her late years of studies, she took on several private residential and retails commissions following construction stages in St Petersburg.
