Yevgeniya Pozigun Senior Associate BA, MA, MArch, ARB
Profile
Yevgeniya joined the practice in 2009 and has since developed an extensive portfolio including performing arts projects in north Africa, Europe and Asia. She also worked on a number of mixed-use developments in Asia and Europe. Through these projects, she has developed experience collaborating with many renowned engineers and consultants in various fields. Her expertise in complex geometry and advanced 3D design platforms combined with outstanding design skills form the foundation for her work.
Yevgeniya previously developed her experience in a number of architectural offices in Ukraine, concentrating mostly on residential projects.
Education
Yevgeniya has an international academic background. She graduated from the Odessa State Academy of Construction and Architecture, Ukraine with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture in 2007. Her passion for innovative architecture and aspiration to contribute to cutting edge design projects led her to the UK where she continued her studies, gaining a master’s degree from AADRL at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in 2009 and her Part III Project and contract management from the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL in 2016.
Project experience overview
Yevgeniya has worked on a number of projects for ZHA, including Nanjing International Youth Cultural Centre, China; Mercury Towers, Malta; Dnipro Metro Stations, Ukraine; and offices in China.
During 2013-2015, Yevgeniya lead the site supervision of the Grand Theatre de Rabat in Morocco and has been the main liaison between the architectural team, the theatre consultants and other disciplines interfacing with the theatre and the performance venue. Her contribution to the project also includes coordination of audience seating design, architectural lighting, material and finishes as well as coordination with the local architect and the client through the tender stage.
In her current project, Yevgeniya is a project architect for new headquarters for a cultural and education foundation in Shenzhen, China.
