The Valli & Valli door handles were originally designed for the interior of the Hotel Puerta America in Madrid. Demonstrating the studio’s commitment to quality and fluid expression in every detail, it embodies the same seamless, organic beauty as the space for which it was intended.
The handle is the first point of contact with the architecture – the coldness of the metal to the touch is a foil to the object’s sensual, inviting outward expression. The alternating angle and thickness of the grip plays with the notion of a beginning and end, its gentle disorientation enhanced by a custom-made irregular door rose.
