Bidisha Sinha Associate Director Dipl Arch, M Arch, COA(India)

Profile
Bidisha was born in Damascus and raised in Delhi. She joined ZHA in the summer of 2005 and has more than a decade of experience delivering international architectural projects across all stages from design concept through to completion. Bidisha also has extensive experience liaising with public authorities and project stakeholders on high-profile projects around the world.

Education & Teaching
Bidisha received her Dip. Arch from the School of Habitat Studies in Delhi in 2000, and her master’s in Architecture and Urbanism from the Design Research Laboratory of the Architectural Association in London in 2005. She has been a visiting critic in architecture schools in both India and the UK.

Bidisha joined ZHA in 2005.
With over a decade of experience working on international projects through all works stages from concept to completion, stakeholder engagement, client liaison, and design quality control. Bidisha expertise spans over both the UK & Asian construction market.
As project architect for the 2011 RIBA Stirling Prize winner Evelyn Grace Academy, Bidisha worked through all stages of design and delivery, including handover to the client in 2010.
Bidisha was also the Project Senior Associate on Mathematics: The Winton Gallery at the Science Museum in London completed in 2016, which received the RIBA award.
In her remit as part of the senior leadership of the ‘Interior Architecture Group’ within ZHA, Bidisha is involved in the design and delivery of projects at varying scales and typologies in UK, Asia and America.
Her current on-going projects include a large-scale student residence for the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, mall interiors in Shanghai and single-family villas in Latin America.
