Yang Jingwen Associate Director
Yang Jingwen was born in Beijing, China; she studied at the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture and Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. She has worked in architectural offices both in China and the UK. In 2004, she joined the London Headquarter of Zaha Hadid Architects and has been involved for more than 14 years. Since then, she has participated in several important projects of the company in Europe, and especially in China. From 2005 to 2010, as a core member of the project team in Guangzhou, China, Yang has participated in the design and construction of the Guangzhou Opera House, which was the first project of Zaha Hadid Architects in China. Since 2011, she has successfully delivered several China major projects in the Beijing Office as an associate.
Since joining Zaha Hadid Architects in 2004, Yang Jingwen has participated in the design of many projects, both as core team member or as the project designer. She has participated in different stages of the project including competition, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction.
Yang Jingwen graduated at the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, China in 2000. After that, she obtained a Master of Arts degree from the Architectural Association in 2003.
