Profile
Daniel Fišer joined Zaha Hadid Architects in 2004. He has worked on a broad variety of residential, cultural, hospitality, transportation, offices and retail projects with the firm, with specialism in advanced modelling and manufacturing methods and rationalisation for construction, backed by extensive site experience. Before joining ZHA, he ran his own architecture firm in Prague, as founder and principal.
Education
Daniel gained his master’s degree in architecture with the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague (2003).
Project experience overview
During his tenure at ZHA, he has worked on numerous high-profile projects including: design and construction of a private residence deep in the woodlands next to Moscow; proposal for a museum of ethnography elevated above a public park in Budapest; design of a residential tower with bespoke interiors in Melbourne; design of an office and co-working complex in Seoul; proposal for a presidential suite for a hotel in Macau; design of a science research centre in Riyadh; proposal for an extension of the existing Grade II listed ZHA studios in London; design of a travelling art pavilion for Chanel; proposal for a terraced public square in Eleftheria; design and delivery of two metro stations in Oslo – along with a wide range of other projects around the globe ranging in scale from furniture to masterplans.
Daniel combines his broad experience gained across different typologies with a strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing and construction methods, cutting-edge computational design tools, and a deep passion for delivering unique spatial experiences for ambitious clients.
