Zaha Hadid designs DNA sculpture to support Cancer Research UK’s fundraising for the new Francis Crick Institute

The DNA double-helix inspired sculpture will be exhibited at Somerset House as part of Cancer Research UK’s fundraising campaign for the new Francis Crick Institute, a world-leading centre of biomedical research and innovation, due to open in London next year.

The 21 sculptures designed by leading artists and designers including Ai WeiWei, Orla Kiely and Ted Baker will be exhibited across London until 6 September before being auctioned at Christies.

The new Francis Crick Institute will bring together leading scientists from across the globe for cancer research and ultimately find cures.
