Zaha Hadid Architects named ‘Best Large Firm’ by the Architizer A+ Awards 2022 Jury

Now in their 10th year, the A+ Awards recognise the world’s best architecture. Having also awarded Zaha Hadid Architects’ (ZHA) Striatus Bridge as the best ‘Architecture + Concrete’ project of 2022 and highly commended ZHA’s new Infinitus Plaza in Guangzhou, the Architizer A+ Awards jury named ZHA as the ‘Best Large Firm’ of the year.

ZHA is one of the world’s most inventive architectural studios—and has been for four decades. These 40 years of research are inscribed within all our projects that become more spatially refined, structurally efficient and technologically advanced with each new design. Marrying innovative design solutions with ecologically sound materials and sustainable construction practices, ZHA does not look at the disparate parts, but works to understand them as a whole to consistently deliver the shared aspirations of each new generation.

Growing to a team of more than 500 dedicated professionals, ZHA transitioned to employee ownership in 2021. Our architecture is built around a deep commitment to the culture of diverse people working collaboratively. This collective, multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving has been a cornerstone of our success since the practice was founded by Zaha Hadid 43 years ago and our London office is home to team members of 60 different nationalities. Our diversity drives our decision-making and enriches the built environments we create in our work with visionary clients and communities across six continents.
