Business Stadium Central receives completion certificate

Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) for the Lithuanian developer Hanner, the 24,000 sq. m Business Stadium Central in Vilnius has received its completion certificate.

Integrated within the Vilnius City Plan, the mixed-use development includes two low-rise office towers of eight and nine storeys connected by a courtyard atrium at street level and a skybridge at level five.

Reinterpreting the geometries of the district's existing civic architecture, Business Stadium Central’s design incorporates a sequence of terraces and roof gardens. A new public sports and wellness complex with swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms and outdoor sun deck is located on the top floor with panoramic views of Gediminas Castle and the historic Old Town.

Located within Vilnius’ humid continental climate, the development employs natural hybrid ventilation for most of the year. High-efficiency heat exchange and recovery systems will reduce energy consumption while double-insulated low-E glazing with external louvres provides high levels of natural light throughout all workplaces and public spaces.

Accommodating Lithuanian and international companies operating in the technology, wellness, creative and service sectors, these tenants will now begin to occupy their new premises with Business Stadium Central’s grand opening planned for Spring this year.
